l fumo uccide, anche la moda. Questo è il messaggio dell’ultima collezione presentata ieri a Milano dal direttore creativo di Moschino, Jeremy Scott. Un palazzo in stile barocco, arredato da grandi tappeti, cornici dorate, pianoforte e lampadari distrutti, diventa lo scenario in cui sfila una donna dall’anima rock, che indossa pelle, denim, abiti sbruciacchiati, calze a rete, orecchini a lampadario e stivali alti. Che dire? Che di Franco è rimasta solo la mucca? E meno male che c’è lei, perché il resto non dice niente di nuovo. Il signor Scott potrebbe spremersi un po’ di più, invece di riproporre temi già visti nelle sue vecchie collezioni per adidas. E poi, quell’allusione ripetitiva alla doppia C di Chanel, che voglia dirci qualcosa? Cosa nasconde l’incrocio dei due punti interrogativi proposto in una delle nuove stampe? Che sia proprio Jeremy Scott l’eletto a cui spetta il posto di Karl? Chissà, c’è puzza di bruciato e forse non è solo a causa del tema della capsule. Che qualcuno stia risparmiando le energie per un progetto più grande? Mi accenderò una sigaretta e ci penserò su, voi che dite?

A baroque style palace, furnished with large carpets, golden frames and a falling-apart piano and chandeliers, became the scenario where a woman with a rock soul did her runway wearing leather denim and half-burnt clothes, fishnet tights, chandelier shapes earrings and thigh-high leather boots. What to say!? Franco …there’s only the cow left? And lucky enough the cow is still there, since everything else tells us nothing new. Mr. Scott should apply himself, instead of showing old themes already seen in his previous Adidas collections. And the same repetitive reference to the double Chanel C, is it meant to hint at something? What’s hidden behind the intersection of two question marks featured in the new prints? Will it be Jeremy Scott the one appointed to replace Karl? Can be… I can smell something in the air and it may not just be the capsule theme’s fault. Is there someone sparing the energies for greater plans? I’ll light a cigarette and think it through, how about you?
