Qualche mese fa vi ho parlato della primavera estate 20132013 di Caterina Gatta, vi ho mostrato qualche immagine del suo evento, organizzato al Mariotti Grand Hotel Flora di Roma, e dei suoi accessori, borse e cappelli, realizzati in collaborazione con Benedetta Bruzziches, e Francesco Ballestrazzi. ma come indossare colori e leggerezza di questa collezione al mio appello mancava…ed eccolo qui. “Quando la vedi dì una preghiera e dà un bacio d’addio al tuo cuore” cantava qualcuno e aveva ragione… Le stampe di Gianni Versace, Pino Lancetti, Fausto Sarli e Irene Galitzine sono le protagoniste di questa avventura che profuma di primavera, di eleganza, di femminilità, un fascino che si ispira a Palma Bucarelli e Artemisia Gentileschi. Il rigore dei materiali più raffinati si accosta alla flessibilità di quelli più moderni in un mood che da sempre caratterizza questa stilista: passato e presente sono gli ingredienti perfetti per raccontare il futuro, il domani di Caterina Gatta che è semplicemente poesia.

A few months ago I wrote about the spring summer 2013 2013 fashion by Caterina Gatta, I showed you a few images of her happening, held at the Mariotti Grand Hotel Flora in Rome, and of her accessories, hand-bags and hats, made in cooperation with Benedetta Bruzziches, and Francesco Ballestrazzi. But I didn’t quite mention how to wear the colors and lightness of this…and here we go. “When you see her say a prayer and kiss your heart goodbye” as somebody sang and was dead right… The prints by Gianni Versace, Pino Lancetti, Fausto Sarli and Irene Galitzine are the main characters of this collection smelling of spring, elegance and femininity, a charm inspired by Palma Bucarelli and Artemisia Gentileschi. The rigour of the most refined materials goes alongside with the flexibility of most modern ones in a mood that has always characterized the fashion designer: past and present are the perfect ingredients to tell the future, Caterina Gatta’s tomorrow which is simple poetry.
