Le sfilate di Chanel sono sempre le mie preferite, forse per la mia adorazione del marchio o forse perché ogni volta che entro al Grand Palais, non so mai cosa abbia inventato la mente geniale di Lagerfeld ed è sempre una sorpresa… Questa volta pale eoliche e pannelli solari sono i protagonisti della scenografia, testimoni di ecosostenibilità, il mondo si trasforma in modo ciclico, come la moda. Maxi perle, da indossare al collo e ai polsi, giacche bolero realizzate in tweed e in denim, bianco, nero e tanti colori, applicazioni floreali, accessori divertenti che sembrano giocattoli: la bag multicolor che ricorda il cubo di Rubik per la stessa cromia, la clutch rigida simile al mattoncino Lego, il cappello dalla tesa larghissima in plexiglas è un disco volante e la borsa hula hoop, fin da subito criticata sul web, ma che io ho apprezzato molto… Fortunatamente c’è ancora chi ha voglia e capacità di creare qualcosa di insolito. Una collezione presentata in modo semplice, che rispecchia totalmente il gusto di chi ama Chanel. Per questa nuova e bellissima esperienza vorrei ringraziare: Laura, la direttrice della boutique di Torino, per averci invitato e ricoperto di attenzioni con una gentilezza senza precedenti; le nostre stilosissime compagne di viaggio: Maria per il suo look mozzafiato e Marella, che è una fotografa professionista, per avermi passato qualcuno dei suoi scatti, tra cui quello con Baptiste Giabiconi, il pupillo di Karl Lagerfeld questa volta non ha sfilato e indossava uno zainetto Louis Vuitton, che tra i due ci sia qualcosa che non va?!? Porterò questa bellissima avventura nel cuore…del mio cappello!

Chanel’s runways have always been my favourite, maybe because I adore the brand or because every time I step into the Grand Palais, I never know what to expect from Karl Lagerfeld’s genius, it’s always a surprise… This time Aeolian shovels and solar panels were the protagonists of the set, eco-sustainable totems, symbol of the cyclical change of the world and fashion. Maxi pearls to be worn on your neck or wrist, bolero jackets in tweed an denim, white, black and myriad of colours, floral applications, funny, toy-like accessories: the multi-colour bag evokes the Rubik’s cube in its shades, the rigid clutch, more like a Lego brick, the broad-brimmed hat in Plexiglas recalling a UFO and the hula hoop bag, harshly criticised on the web, but that I’ve appreciated much… Luckily there is still someone who has the will and the ability to create something new and unexpected. The event was simple and minimal, perfectly mirroring Chanel style. For this new and unforgettable experience I’d like to thank: Laura, the manager of Chanel boutique in Turin, for inviting us and taking care of us; Our stylish companions: Maria for her breath-taking outfit and Marella, photographer, for her snaps, among which that with Baptiste Giabiconi, Karl Lagerfeld’s protégé who, this time, hasn’t modelled for the show and was wearing a Louis Vuitton rucksack, a bit of tension between the two?!? We’ll see… You’ll find my outfit on Elle magazine that took a photo of me, thanks to the hat by Francesco Ballestrazzi and the marvellous John Galliano vintage jacket, part of Cesare Tadolini’s private collection, the owner of L’Incontro boutique in Modena. I will cherish this experience forever ….in my hat’s heart!
