Keep calm and love pink!

Che uomini e donne sono molto diversi l’avevo già detto, ma la caratteristica fondamentale che li differenzia è l’ottimizzazione dei tempi. E’risaputo che LEI riesce a fare più cose contemporaneamente, a differenza di LUI, sapete perché? Perché LEI non ha scelta…e l’esigenza, si sa, aguzza l’ingegno. La prima azione compiuta, perennemente e contemporaneamente insieme a mille altre anche se non si vede, è quella di pensare. Se vi capitasse di chiederle a cosa sta pensando e lei rispondesse: “A niente…” sappiate che sta mentendo, è impossibile! LEI pensa continuamente a qualcosa, sempre e dovunque…anche quando dorme. La cosa interessante è che non pensa a quello che sta facendo, non ha tempo, pensa sempre a quello che verrà poi, a quello che dovrà fare poi…come incastrare i suoi impegni, cosa comprare quando sarà l’ora della spesa, cosa preparare per cena, cosa mettere ai bambini per andare a scuola, quando andare dal parrucchiere, cosa indosserà per il suo importante impegno di lavoro. LEI ha talmente tante cose a cui pensare che usa anche il suo tempo libero…pensa mentre fa sport, mentre fa la manicure, anche quando fa sesso! Se una donna deve ricevere una telefonata importante, state pur certi che la riceverà nel momento più inopportuno, magari mentre sta dirigendo una squadra di operai che sta cambiando gli infissi di casa sua e nel momento in cui parte il flessibile e le viene chiesto dove si trova, lei risponde prontamente che è in aeroporto, che sta partendo per un importante viaggio d’affari. Se invece sta cambiando il pannolino a suo figlio e questo, come da copione, piange, lei dirà che si trova in un reparto di neonatologia perché la sua associazione di beneficenza sta raccogliendo fondi per i bambini meno fortunati. Al contrario, quando è lei a dover fare una telefonata di vitale importanza, la fa mentre guida, perché è l’unico momento in cui non ha in mano un’aspirapolvere. LEI deve riuscire a trovare il modo migliore per soddisfare i suoi bisogni e quelli della famiglia…deve essere in ordine, in forma, una brava cuoca, una buona moglie, una perfetta padrona di casa, una mamma presente, una donna di successo. Vittima della crudele società in cui viviamo? Io credo di no…La verità è che è a LEI piace la figura della donna tuttofare perché è l’espressione massima di realizzazione, se all’uomo basta un buon impiego per sentirsi realizzato, alla donna no. E’ lei stessa a voler imporsi un ruolo così complesso. A LEI piace la competizione, ma se pensate che gli importi di confrontarsi col sesso maschile, quello che tutti definiscono “forte”, siete fuori strada. Non si misura con chi, tutto sommato, fa e continua a fare solo ciò che ha sempre fatto: lavorare, non si misura con chi, per indole, non ha interesse nell’ottimizzare i tempi, ma preferisce sfidare un vero osso duro, l’avversario migliore: lei stessa! E se proprio non dovesse bastarle…allora che questa grande sfida continui…con altre donne, esseri umani con pari capacità e pari ambizioni!

I’ve already told you that men and women are totally different but I think that the main difference lies in the optimisation of time. It’s well known that SHE can do more things at the same time and HE can’t. do you know why? Because SHE has no choice…and needs sharpen wits. The first action that she constantly and simultaneously does together with many other things is that of thinking. If you ask her what she is thinking and she answers: “Nothing…” you should know that she’s not telling the truth, it’s impossible! SHE always thinks, everywhere she is…even when she’s sleeping. The most interesting aspect is that she doesn’t think of what she’s doing at the moment, she has no time for that, she thinks of what it will come after, of what she will do after…how to schedule her day, the shopping list, what she will cook for dinner, how to dress the kids for school, when she’ll have time for the hair-dresser, what she’ll wear for an important business meeting. SHE has so many things to think about that she even uses her free-time…she thinks while doing sports, while having her manicure, even when she’s having sex! If a woman is waiting for an important call, you can bet she’ll get it in the worst moment of all, maybe while giving instructions to a team of workers renovating her house, in the moment when one of the workers asks her where the fuse is and she promptly answers that it’s at the airport leaving for a business trip. If she is changing her kid’s nappy and the kid is crying, she’ll answer that the fuse is in a neonatology unit as a charity is raising funds for children in trouble. On the contrary, when she has to do an important call, she does it while driving as it’s the only moment when she has no vacuum-cleaner in her hands. SHE must find the best way possible to meet her needs and those of her family…she must be well-groomed, fit, a good cook, a good wife, a perfect housewife, a careful mum, a successful woman. A victim of today’s cruel society? I don’t think so…the truth is that SHE loves to be an all-purpose woman as this is her best achievement, men have enough of a good job, women don’t. She wants to have this challenging role. SHE loves competition but if you think that she wants to compete with men, with the so-called “stronger” sex, you are wrong. She doesn’t compete with those who does what they have always done: working, she doesn’t compete with those who are not interested in time optimisation, she prefers the most difficult challenge of all, that with herself! And, if she can’t have enough..well, the big challenge can go further…with other women, human beings with her same capacity and ambition!
