Crem for Borsalino

Ve lo avevo anticipato…qualche giorno fa BORSALINO, la maison di cappelli famosa in tutto il mondo, mi ha contattato per iniziare una collaborazione. Tutti lo conoscono per il suo celebre modello fedora, in feltro soffice, con la tesa di media larghezza e una fascia di stoffa più scura che lo circonda, ma il mondo di Borsalino è molto di più! Ho incontrato lo staff in show-room a Milano, durante la settimana della moda, e sono stati fantastici. Mi hanno chiesto quale cappello desiderassi della collezione autunno inverno e, se mi conoscete, avrete immaginato che la mia scelta non è caduta sul solito modello… non vedo l’ora di mostrarvelo! Come se non bastasse, ho ricevuto in omaggio anche un bellissimo paio d’occhiali, che saranno presentati a breve, e per una “foto-ricordo” da postare sulla loro pagina facebook mi sono sbizzarrita a provare altri cappelli. Erano così tanti e così belli, che più che trovare una testa su cui metterli, l’ho proprio persa e, come sempre succede, il mio occhio è caduto su uno in particolare: un pezzo unico, completamente ricoperto di cristalli Swarovski… è quello che vedete nella prima e nelle ultime immagini. La nostra avventura è appena cominciata, siete curiosi di sapere cosa succederà poi? Di cose in mente ne ho proprio tante…continuate a seguirmi!

I told you some days ago, BORSALINO, the world famous hat brand contacted me to start a collaboration. The brand icon is the renowned Fedora hat, a broad-brimmed hat in soft felt with a darker fabric band around it, but Borsalino’s world is much, much more! I met the staff in their showroom in Milan, during the fashion week, and they were really amazing. They let me choose a hat of the fall winter collection and if you know me, you can well imagine that I didn’t choose a basic model… I’m looking forward to showing you my new hat! Not only, I also got a marvellous pair of glasses, that will be previewed soon and, for a photo snap on their FB page, I enjoyed trying on a series of other hats. Many, beautiful hats, and I must admit that I’ve literally lost my head for them and, as usual, I went crazy for one in particular: a unique piece, completely covered with Swarovski crystals… the hat you can see in the first and last picture. Our adventure has just started, are you curious to find out what’s going to happen? I have so many ideas…stay tuned!
