Dopo il documentario “Living with Boy George”, del 2008, che mostra la quotidianità del personaggio artistico, ora è proprio il caso di dire: DANCING WITH BOY GEORGE! Ieri sera alla Capannina di Forte dei Marmi il suo mondo ce lo ha fatto sentire proprio bene, regalandoci un dj-set da spettacolo! Il suo look rivisitato negli anni e adattato alla stazza fisica, lo abbiamo ritrovato: il cappello di Philip Treacy, il trucco coloratissimo sugli occhi… poi il suo bel sorriso, che si accende ogni volta che i bassi si alzano, è un mix tra disinvoltura e timidezza, come l’eterna antitesi che da sempre lo distingue. L’artista che muore e rinasce tra discese e risalite, sempre in bilico tra coerenza e contraddizione, genio e sregolatezza, oggi è un dj di successo tra i più originali e creativi della scena attuale e rimane uno dei punti di riferimento nella cultura pop moderna. Io l’ho onorato ballando tutta la notte, avrei solo voluto le scarpe di riserva perché a fermare le mie danze sono stati proprio i tacchi!
