Di che gusto sei?

Qualche giorno fa la mia piccola Emma mi domanda: “Mamma, ma un maschio può prendere il gelato di Hello Kitty oppure deve mangiare solo quelli da maschio?” Io le rispondo: “Bella domanda Emma! Beh, generalmente i maschietti preferiscono il gelato di Ben 10, le femminucce, invece, quello di Hello Kitty!” Lei ribatte e mi chiede: “Si, ma se a un maschio piace la fragola, cosa fa non la mangia perché è rosa?” Le ho dato ragione, poi mi sono messa a pensare…alla verità… e la verità è che uomini e donne sono divisi in colori standard dalla nascita. Nella culla per la pupa c’è il rosa, per il pupo l’azzurro, poi, col passare del tempo, anche questi colori bebè diventano più grandi, trasformandosi nelle loro sfumature più forti…il rosa diventa fucsia o viola, l’azzurro diventa blu o verde… si, insomma, i colori chiari sono più adatti a lei, quelli più scuri a lui. Immaginate gli stessi bambini catapultati avanti negli anni mentre percorrono la navata… nella stragrande maggioranza dei casi lo sposo è vestito di nero, la sposa di bianco. Ma poi arriva il momento in cui di quegli schemi devi infischiartene… perché Dio, dopo l’uomo, la donna, la terra, ed essersi riposato, ha creato anche il nero, che è si un colore scuro, quindi maschile, ma le donne ci vanno pazze…perché sta su tutto, perché non passa mai di moda, perché è sexy e perché, in certi situazioni, ti fa sembrare più in forma che con qualsiasi altro colore! Arriva il momento in cui l’esigenza aguzza l’ingegno, in cui, per sentirti bene, le regole devono andare a quel paese, sia che tu sia un uomo, sia che tu sia una donna, anche quando non è facile… anche quando si tratta di cambiare il “colore” che per anni ti è stato imposto, anche quando è ciò che ti sta intorno a dirti cosa ti piace e cosa non ti piace, cosa “sta bene” e cosa “non sta bene”. E la domanda ora la faccio a voi: “Se foste liberi da ogni tipo di stereotipo, che colore vi piacerebbe davvero? Come lo mangereste il gelato?” Forse è proprio come canta Morgan nella sua canzone: “…svincolarsi dalle condizioni, dalle pose, dalle posizioni…” e lasciare che le cose ti portino ALTROVE…

In the cradle of a girl everything is pink and light blue for a boy, then, when growing up, this pastel colours change and turn into stronger, more intense shades… Pink becomes fuchsia or purple, light blue becomes dark blue or green… Bright colours for her and dark colours for him. Imagine the same children, once adults, while they are walking down the church nave… The majority of grooms are dressed in black, brides in white. Then, there’s a moment in life when you have to forget about these conventions… as God himself, after having created men, women, the earth and having taken a rest, created black, which is a dark therefore man-like colour, but women go crazy for it….as it is always cool and never out-of-fashion, it is sexy and sometimes it makes you feel better and fit! There’s a moment in life when you have to sharpen your wits, and when you must forget about rules to feel good, irrespective of man and women and sometimes it’s not easy….. as it is a question of changing the “colour” that has been imposed to you for years, as the world around you imposes your tastes and your preferences, what is good for you and what is not. I turn the question to you: “if you were free from stereotypes, what colour would you choose? What ice-cream flavour would you have?” Perhaps it goes exactly like the Italian singer Morgan says: “…free oneself from conditions, poses and positions… and leave things bring you ELSEWHERE…
