Et Dieu créa la femme…et le week-end ;-)!

Una settimana fa ero a Roma, passeggiando tra le vie del centro, mi ritrovo in questo splendido giardino…e mi dico: in ogni metropoli del mondo, anche la più caotica, c’è sempre un luogo tranquillo che non sembra far parte di essa, ci capiti per caso, ti guardi intorno e realizzi che il rumore, i vocii, i clacson delle macchine impazzite nel traffico sono scomparsi. Un’oasi di serenità inaspettata che ti fa pensare che il trambusto della città non è poi così diverso da quello della tua flotta di neuroni in una tipica giornata di lavoro. Anche i pensieri, che corrono più velocemente di Usain Bolt, ogni tanto hanno bisogno di un Pit stop e con la mente, strano a dirsi, per fare rifornimento di energia basta solo staccare la spina ;-). Il weekend è stato inventato per questo! Forse non siamo sempre nella condizione di sfruttarlo completamente, ma è anche vero che sappiamo accontentarci e a volte basta solo chiudere gli occhi e immaginarci una zona di benessere…in cui siamo stati, in cui siamo ora, in cui vorremmo essere…

A week ago, I was in Rome and while strolling in the city streets, I found a marvellous garden…and I said to myself: in every single metropolitan city of the world, even the most frantic, there’s always an oasis of peace where to indulge in moments of pure quiet, you bump into it by chance and you realise that the city noise and traffic jam have disappeared. An unexpected place of calm that makes you think that frantic city lifestyle is not so different from your neurons during a typical working day. Even thoughts, that run faster than Usain Bolt, sometimes need a pit-stop and for a fuel of energy what your mind needs is just to take a break ;-). Week-ends were invented for this purpose! Perhaps we are not always able to benefit from it but it’s also true that sometimes we just need to close our eyes and pretend we’re in a place full of wellness and relaxation…a place where we have been, where were now or where would like to be…
