Sabato 21 e domenica 22 aprile, in tutte le piazze d’Italia, sarà possibile acquistare i fiori a sostegno del Telefono Azzurro. TELEFONO AZZURRO è una onlus nata a Bologna ne 1987 con lo scopo di difendere i diritti dell’infanzia. Dal 26 marzo 2003 il Ministero delle Comunicazioni, Il Ministero per le Pari Opportunità e il Ministero del Lavoro hanno affidato al telefono Azzurro la gestione del servizio d’emergenza infanzia, il 114. Ci si può rivolgere a questo numero tutte le volte che un bambino è in pericolo, è attivo 24 ore su 24, sette giorni su sette ed è gratuito. Chiunque, ragazzo o adulto, può contattarlo per denunciare un’emergenza che coinvolge un bambino o per segnalare immagini, messaggi e dialoghi che possono nuocere ai ragazzi attraverso televisione, internet, radio e carta stampata. Segnalo inoltre che, dal 25 maggio 2009, è attivo il numero 116000, raggiungibile gratuitamente da telefonia fissa e mobile da 10 Stati membri dell’Unione Europea, per segnalare la scomparsa di bambini. Anche questo numero viene gestito da Telefono Azzurro in collaborazione con la Polizia di Stato. TELEFONO AZZURRO is a no-profit organisation founded in Bologna in 1987 aiming at protecting children.
