È sicuramente da annoverare tra una delle mie British Designers preferite. Eclettica, attenta osservatrice di tutto ciò che la circonda, amante dello street style tipico dell’East London, Emma Cook ha recentemente trasferito il suo laboratorio da Dalston a Stoke Newington, area londinese molto trendy e divenuta alquanto gettonata in fatto di arte, fashion e musica a vari livelli. Emma predilige la seta, i colori e le stampe accese ma mai troppo ricche;  le sue collezioni sono ispirate a un gusto a metà tra il dandy e il bohème, vestitini bon ton, maxi coulottes, felpe e joggers coloratissimi. Natura, fiori, animali, pizzi, forme a volte geometriche, a volte morbide e suadenti. Emma ha inventato uno stile al di là dei canoni rigorosamente inglesi, per rinnovare con creatività ed orgoglio il mercato british.

I would surely define her one of my favourite British Designers. Eclectic, careful observer of everything around her, street style lover so typical of East London, Emma Cook has recently moved her laboratory from Dalston to Stoke Newington, a trendy London area that is now popular for art, fashion and music of any kind. Emma loves silk, lively colours and prints but never lavish; her collections are inspired by dandy and bohéme style, bon-ton dresses, maxi coulottes, sweaters and colourful joggers. Nature, flowers, animals, lace, geometrical or even smooth and delicate volumes. Emma invented a style that goes beyond the typical standards to renew  and proudly re-create the British fashion market.
