Anche durante una settimana dedicata al design è possibile trattare argomenti sensibili e vi consiglio di cuore di visitare la mostra a Palazzo Serbelloni dal 10 al 16 aprile. Un importante progetto nato dall’idea della giovane fotografa Talitha Puri Negri e dalla Onlus Piccolo Principe, nata nel 2002, per sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sul delicato tema del maltrattamento e della della violenza minorile. Giovanni Gastel è l’autore di questi 28 ritratti di bambini dal volto coperto che testimoniano non solo il tentativo di nascondersi, ma al tempo stesso di sottrarsi alla violenza subita nel tentativo di guardare con un volto nuovo la propria vita. L’artista dichiara: “Le 28 splendide vite che per un momento ho avuto davanti all’obbiettivo non vogliono pietà, ma guardano nel nostro cuore con dignità come a dire: tutto ciò che ho visto e subito non mi impedirà di amare.” Acqua Ferrarelle è lo sponsor unico di questa iniziativa, il ricavato dei ritratti che sono stati venduti durante la serata dell’inaugurazione sarà devoluto all’associazione Piccolo Principe che cerca di ricostruire il futuro di questi bambini.
