DI MATTEO MANZINI La settimana della Moda maschile è terminata, il sipario è calato e anche a questa volta ci sono state vittime… Io per primo! Il caldo milanese era quasi insopportabile, anzi, togliamo il QUASI… ho rischiato più di una volta di fondermi insieme all’asfalto, soprattutto perché avevo deciso di vestirmi come per un editorial di Vogue: NON-pratico, full-accessorized e ciuffo rigido e solido della consistenza di una scultura in marmo (causa eccesso di gel). Ogni tanto la goccia di sudore bastarda tentava di scendere copiosa rovinando la mia aplomb, ma grazie ai metri di rotoloni Regina che portavo sempre con me la strage veniva evitata ogni volta! Il Tour de force iniziava alle 7 di mattina, colazione da campioni, anzi doppia colazione da campioni, e poi via nella giungla metropolitana della capitale della Moda! Showroom, eventi, cocktail, pranzi, presentazioni, mostre, aperitivi di lavoro, sfilate, cene di lavoro e chiaramente i party notturni che, durante le varie settimane della moda, sono imprendibili, perché quando vieni invitato a queste feste nominali ed esclusive con super Dj-set…come puoi dire di NO!? Quindi, dopo aver dormito una media di 3 ore per notte, ora mi ritrovo con un semi-esaurimento nervoso, visioni a tutte le ore del giorno, sproloqui improvvisi, ma chi mi conosce non ci fa neanche più caso, e una fantastica gastrite! Così non mi rimane che rimettere insieme i cocci… riorganizzare le idee e tutti i fantastici marchi che ho visto ed iniziare a mostrarvi un po’ di cose! Prima di tutto i miei look che così tanto sono piaciuti a tutta la schiera di press orientale presente ad ogni evento/sfilata!

BY MATTEO MANZINI The Man Fashion week in Milan is now over, the curtain has been brought down over it And there were victims this time too….and I was one of them! The weather in Milan was unbearably hot, BOILING hot I would say… My feet nearly melted on the road tar, also because I had chosen a kind of Vogue editorial outfit: NON-functional at all, fully accessorized, a rigid and hard marble-like hair style (excess gel). Bastards drops of sweat were trying to ruin my aplomb, but thanks to my loads of tissues I managed to avoid the disaster! The Tour de Force started every morning at 7, breakfast of the champions, or better, double breakfast of the champions and then ready for the metropolitan fashion jungle! Showrooms, events, cocktail parties, lunches, exhibitions, work, fashion shows, business dinners and, of course, night parties that, during the Fashion week, are absolutely not-to-be-missed events because when you are invited to take part in one of those exclusive parties with super Dj-sets….how can you REFUSE? Therefore, after having slept for 3 hours per night on average, my nerves were strained to breaking point, hallucinations, sudden changes of mood, and a fabulous stomach ache! Now, I just need to put back the pieces… Pool ideas on all the super brands I saw during the fashion week and start to show you something! I could start with my outfits, much appreciated by the Far-Eastern press present at the fashion shows!
