Una collezione piena di vigore, presentata al recente Bred&Butter di Berlino, Teddy-Bear, Flower-Power, mix & match di colori…sono all’ordine del giorno e il prossimo inverno pare sarà molto più effervescente di quello stiamo vivendo! Uno stile vivace, sempre fuori dal coro, ma con un occhio molto attento alle esigenze di mercato. Che siano davvero gli artisti come Jeremy Scott a dettare il vademecum per uscire da questa crisi globale? Ma di tutta questa entusiastica collezione, c’è una parte di essa che più salta all’occhio ed è quella che sembra ispirarsi agli archivi Versace… mischiare il maculato con le stampe broccate, inserire spille da balia giganti su bomber di pelle matelassè, aggiungere fibbie importanti ai boots. Jeremy prosegue il filone iniziato da Donatella in collaborazione con H&M, in cui ha riportato alla ribalta i master-pieces della Maison Versace. Concludo facendomi una domanda: sarà Gianni Versace il vero leit motiv e il collante di tutta la moda nel 2012?

A n energetic collection, recently showcased at the Bread&Butter in Berlin, Teddy-Bear, Flower-Power and mix n’match are on the agenda and our next winter season will surely be more sparkling than that we are currently experiencing! A lively, out of line style, but with an eye wide open on market needs. Maybe, artists like Jeremy Scott will be the ones to “dictate” the right guidebook to step out of this global crisis! But, when looking at this enthusiastic collection, a part of it definitely stands out…as if inspired by Versace’s archives… Mixing animalier patterns with brocade prints, huge safety pins matelassé leather bomber jackets, and adding big buckles to boots. Jeremy goes down the path already started by Donatella for her Versace for H&M collection in which she revived the master-pieces of the Maison. And now I am just wondering….. will Gianni Versace be the leit motiv, the fil-rouge behind 2012 fashion trends?
