Ieri siamo stati invitati dall’ufficio stampa H&M alla presentazione della capsule collection firmata Maison Martin Margiela. Chi ha un grande e corposo archivio da cui “attingere” non può sbagliare e questa collezione prevede un enorme successo. Non erano disponibili tutti i pezzi che vi ho mostrato nel precedente articolo, ma i miei preferiti erano proprio lì, davanti ai miei occhi: il body color carne con bra applicato, la handbag sberluccicante che ricorda la confezione “monodose” del chewing-gum, accessorio riesumato da una vecchia sfilata, le scarpe che si ispirano alle famose repliche dei primi anni ’80, la maxi maglia blu, il bozzetto che viene disegnato nel video pubblicitario della collaborazione… insomma, se siete curiosi di sapere se anche dal vivo la capsule ci ha soddisfatto, la risposta è assolutamente si! Abbiamo già preparato il coltello da infilare tra i denti e siamo pronti a combattere la nostra guerra per portare a casa il bottino.

Not all the pieces I showed you in my previous article were available, but my favorite ones where there, right in front of my eyes: the flesh-tint body with applied bra, the sparkling handbag recalling the “individually-wrapped” chewing-gum, dug up from an old fashion show, shoes inspired by the famous replicas of the early ’80s, the blue maxi t-shirt, the sketch being drawn in the video ad of the collaboration… and…, if you are eager to find out if… even “live” the capsule collection was up to our expectations?!?, the answer is absolutely yes! we already got a knife each to put between our teeth And are ready to fight our battle to bring the haul home!
