L'autostima di prima mattina...

“L’autostima di prima mattina è un toccasana…” Già, ma quante delle 365 mattine dell’anno vantano il privilegio di riuscire a tenere alta l’opinione di noi stessi? Forse non proprio tutte e forse è anche vero che l’autostima è “ereditaria”, che una persona nasce con una “dose”… a volte buona, a volte meno. Forse la prima regola per avere un buon livello di autostima è di prenderci così come siamo… riuscire per primi a capire che, in fondo in fondo, non siamo poi tanto male e che quando ci sforziamo di essere ciò che non siamo, imitando modelli fuori dalla nostra portata, non sempre si ottiene un buon risultato. Poi è arrivato Charlie Chaplin, che era si il re del film muto, ma quando parlava tutti stavano sull’attendi…e una volta disse: “Ti criticheranno sempre, parleranno male di te e sarà difficile che incontri qualcuno al quale tu possa andare bene così come sei. Quindi vivi come credi, fai quello che ti dice il cuore… la vita è come un’opera di teatro che non ha prove iniziali: canta, balla, ridi e vivi intensamente ogni giorno della tua vita prima che l’opera finisca senza applausi”. E anche questa “è una musica funziona…”

“Self-esteem in the morning is a real panacea …” Yes, but how many mornings of the 365 days in a year can have the privilege of being able to boost our morale? Not all really, and perhaps it’s always true that self-esteem is “hereditary”, that a person has an innate “dose” of it….sometimes good some others less. The first rule to reach a fair level of self-esteem is to take ourselves as we are… being the first to understand that, all considered, we are not such bad and when we try to be different from what we really are, emulating models out of our reach, we don’t usually achieve good results. Then, one day, Charlie Chaplin came, who was the king of silent movies but when he talked everyone was staring at him listening to his words…..and once he said: “They’ll always criticize you, speak badly of you, it’ll be hard to meet someone who will like you as you are, so live, do what your heart tells you to do.. Life is like a play that does not allow testing. So sing, cry, dance, laugh and live intensely every day of your life, before the curtain closes and the piece ends with no applause “ and this sounds good…
