ouis Vuitton celebra, ancora una volta, l’importante collaborazione con l’ Andy Warhol giapponese e vera icona dell’arte contemporanea Takashi Murakami in una mostra che sarà presentata nella Galleria Cavour a Bologna, nell’ambito di Artefiera 2017 a partire dal 25 Gennaio. Dal 2002 la maison francese e l’artista contemporaneo più famoso del Sol Levante collaborano alla realizzazione di accessori di lusso in edizione limitata, rivoluzionando il famosissimo monogramma LV ispirandosi al mondo manga e alla texture inconfondibile di Louis Vuitton. La mostra intitolata “Kirakirà: lo scintillante mondo di Takashi Murakami” prende spunto dallo stravagante mondo dell’artista giapponese e dal suo stile definito Superflat (super piatto), caratterizzato dall’integrazione di una grande varietà di elementi della subcultura e della cultura giapponese, come la filosofia degli otoku, gli anime degli anni Settanta o le stampe giapponesi di Hokusai che si fondono e si appiattiscono in stampe pop. La collezione che verrà esposta consterà di 40 opere, tra cui alcune già conosciute della serie Superflat Monogram del 2003 e Superflat First Love del 2009. La mostra rientra nel programma del centrocinquantesimo anniversario delle relazioni tra Giappone e Italia e nella boutique Louis Vuitton verrà presentata una selezione di opere originali, provenienti dalla collezione del patrimonio della maison. Un appuntamento da non perdere.
Louis Vuitton celebrates, once again the important collaboration with the true icon of contemporary art: the Japaneese Andy Warhol , Takashi Murakami in a show that will be on in Galleria Cavour in Bologna during Artefiera 2017 starting January 25. From 2002 on the French Maison and the contemporary artist, more famous than the rising sun, collaborate to the realization of luxury accessories in limited edition, by revolutionizing the most famous monogram LV while gathering inspiration from the manga world and from the unmistakable texture of Louis Vuitton. The show dedicated to “Kirakirà: the psychedelic world of Takashi Murakami” takes its cue from the extravagant world of the Japaneese artist and his style defined as Superflat and characterized by the integration of a large variety of elements from the subculture and Japaneese culture, such as the the Otoku philosophy, the souls of the 70s or the Japaneese prints by Hokusai that blend with and flatten onto pop prints. The collection on display will show 40 artworks, among which some already known from the Superflat Monogram series of 2003 and Superflat First Love of 2009. The show is part of the program of the 151st anniversary of the relationships between Japan and Italy and inside the Louis Vuitton boutique a selection of original artworks coming from the collection patrimony of the Maison will be shown on display.
