Cos’è giusto, cos’è sbagliato? La verità spesso sta nel mezzo oppure nel coraggio delle scelte di certe persone che, per essere felici e avere una famiglia, sono disposte a farsi “immolare” al fine di dare un messaggio molto più grande. Un mio professore del Saint Martin mi insegnò una cosa molto bella: se vuoi che qualcosa cambi, pensa in grande. Ed è quello che ha fatto Antonella Antonelli, direttore di Marie Claire Italia, mettendo sulla copertina di uno dei più importanti magazine di moda la free-thinker Tasha Tilberg, una TOP model dalle idee molto chiare. Fotografata mentre indossa una preview del prossimo autunno inverno, con un sorriso contagioso, insieme ai suoi bellissimi bambini. E voi vi chiederete: Quindi? Che c’è di strano? Tasha non è solo una modella dalla carriera stellare, è felicemente sposata con un’altra donna ed è mamma. La moda è saper guardare avanti e trasmettere nuovi messaggi, è viaggiare con la mente e immaginare di poter vivere in una dimensione che ci rappresenta. Finalmente c’è qualcuno che ha voglia di proporre qualcosa di nuovo e positivo con una copertina che diventa il simbolo di un grande cambiamento costruttivo. Vedere le foto e leggere l’intervista a Tasha Tilberg e alla sua Rainbow Family mi ha fatto pensare a questa famiglia “diversa” e avrei voluto farne parte, mi ha aperto il cuore. Spesso ci piace giudicare, ma chi siamo noi per farlo? La felicità non è sempre in ciò che riteniamo convenzionale. Mi auguro che in futuro ci siano sempre più persone capaci di non temere la paura di essere felici come Tasha, perché l’amore è tutto intorno a noi, come cantava Billy Mack in una delle sue canzoni di qualche anno fa. What’s right? What’s wrong? The truth lies in-between or else in the braveness of some people, who, in order to be happy and have a family, are ready to “sacrifice” for something more important. One of my professors at Saint Martin taught me a wonderful concept: if you something to change, think big. And this is what Antonella Antonelli did, director at Marie Claire Italia, choosing as the cover of one of the most important fashion magazines, the free-thinker Tasha Tilberg, a TOP model with her own idea of life. Photographed while wearing a preview of next fall-winter fashion, smiling and together with her marvellous children. And you are probably thinking: And so? What’s strange about that? Tasha is not only a top model, she is married to another woman and she is a mother. Fashion means looking ahead and communicating new messages, travelling with your mind and imagine a new dimension of being. Finally something new and positive with a magazine cover that becomes the symbol of a change. Looking at the photos and reading the interview with Tasha Tilberg and her Rainbow Family made me think about this “different” family and I felt the desire to be part of it, I opened my heart to this change. We often like to judge but who are we do that? Happiness is not always what we consider as traditional. I hope more and more people will be not afraid of being happy like Tasha, as love is all around, as Billy Mack used to sing. Good job Antonella!
