DI MATTEO MANZINI Questo è quello che vi siete persi durante le varie settimane della moda di quest’anno… -la presentazione / flash-mob che Stella McCartney ha fatto a Londra durante una cena per presentare una sua capsule collection molto più couture, con tanti ballerini, attori ed una super top, Shalom Harlow. -Il party di Mulberry, durante la London Fashion Week, è stato l’evento più ambito soprattutto perchè l’It-Girl Lana Del Rey ne è stata la protagonista incontrastata, regalando al suo pubblico una performance impeccabile ed estremamente glamour. -Il party di Dolce&Gabbana al Gold restaurant è stato meraviglioso, così pieno di vita, jet set e musica da ballare da lasciare tutti di stucco ed entusiasti per giorni, tanto da far “dimenticare”, anche se per poco, della crisi che la moda sta attraversando. -la sfilata di Versace in Via del Gesù è stata davvero eccitante… è stato un tributo a Gianni, al suo genio e alle sue creazioni gotiche / punk / glamour degl’anni ’90. -Un grande momento di sconforto ha colto tutti quando è stata annunciato il licenziamento di Raf Simon da Jil Sander… soprattutto quando a fine sfilata lui è uscito in lacrime ringraziando tutti coloro che lo hanno sostenuto in questi anni! -Stranamente una sfilata puntuale, anzi puntualissima quella di Louis Vuitton, per non far perdere agli invitati quel treno di inizio secolo, da cui sono scese decine di modelle presentando la collezione della maison francese, disegnata da Marc Jacobs. -Stefano Pilati ha dato l’adieu alla maison Yves Saint Laurent, cedendo il testimone ad Heidi Slimane, genio multi-tasking francese di origini tunisine e già stilista della casa francese della parte maschile fino a qualche anno fa, ma a sua volta licenziato per ragioni non chiare… e come al solito nella pianeta Moda tutto torna… -Il party del dopo sfilata di Lanvin per consacrare i 10 anni di fortunate collaborazioni che questo marchio del lusso ha fatto con il creatore israeliano Alber Elbaz… un party davvero spumeggiante, con una band live. -La sfilata di Alexander McQueen di una bellezza da rimanere incantati… un’artigianalità futuristica, drappeggi perfetti quasi geometrici, ricami barocchi al laser, cinture di metallo che sembrano fiori che sbocciano, strati infiniti di chiffon a taglio vivo che creano volumi di un fascino così impalpabile da lasciare senza parole…

BY MATTEO MANZINI This is what you’ve been missing out of this year’s fashion weeks…. – Stella McCartney’s flash-mob in London: set up during a gala dinner as a presentation of her couture capsule collection, with dancers, actors and the super top model, Shalom Harlow. – Mulberry party during the London Fashion Week: the cult-event mainly thanks to the presence of today’s It-girl Lana del Rey, who delighted the audience with an impeccable and glamorous performance. – Dolce&Gabbana party at the Gold restaurant: a fabulous one, lively, full of celebrities, socialites and dance music; the guests were so enthusiastic as to “forget” the economic crisis that the fashion industry is currently undergoing. – Versace runway show in Via del Gesù: truly exciting!… A tribute to Gianni, to his genius and his gothic/punk/glamour collections of the 90s. -Everyone was plunged into despair by the announcement of Raf Simon’s dismissal from Jil Sander… precisely when, once the catwalk was over, he came out in tears thanking everybody for their support over all these years! -Weird enough, a catwalk on the dot: Louis Vuitton’s, To prevent the guests from missing dozens of models getting off an old-style train While wearing the French maison pieces designed by Marc Jacobs. -Stefano Pilati gave his adieu to Yves Saint Laurent, giving way to Heidi Slimane, multi-tasking French genius of Tunisian origins, who was working for the maison designing the menswear up to a few years ago, and was afterwards dismissed too for reasons still unclear….and as usual in the Fashion Planet what goes around comes around… -Lanvin after-show party to celebrate 10 years of successful partnership of the luxury brand with the Israeli designer Alber Elbaz… a sparkling party with live music. – Alexander McQueen’s runway show: an enchanting beauty… Futuristic craftsmanship, perfect almost geometrical drapery, laser-cut baroque embroiders, metal belts which looked like blooming flowers, infinite layers of untrimmed chiffon creating volumes of such an impalpable charm as to leave you speechless…
