Arriva il momento in cui il passato viene a bussare alla tua porta, il momento in cui arriva la necessità di portare a termine ciò che hai iniziato tanto tempo fa e che non hai finito per mille ragioni…nel mio caso è un libro. E così eccomi a Parigi…è mezzanotte e come il protagonista di “Midnight in Paris”, mi ritrovo a passeggiare per le vie della città in cerca di ispirazione. Forse quella macchina magica, capace di portarmi indietro nel tempo per farmi conoscere Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Dalì e Picasso non passerà mai, ma credo che mi farò bastare la magia parigina, che dite?!? Volete sapere accanto a quale best seller vorrei vedere il mio futuro libro? Beh, ancora non lo so…vi chiedo di aspettare ancora un po’… ma nel frattempo posso dirvi quale favola meglio mi rappresenta: “La lepre e la tartaruga”. Lo so, stavate già pensando a una principessa Disney, invece no, io amo la tartaruga perché è vero che va piano, ma arriva sempre dove vuole andare…

The moment when the past comes to knock at your door always arrives, the moment when you have to finish what you started a long time ago and that you didn’t for a series of reasons…in my case, a book. So here I am in Paris…it’s midnight and exactly like the protagonist of “Midnight in Paris”, I am walking around the city looking for inspiration. Perhaps that magic car, able to bring me back in time and meet Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Dalì and Picasso will never come but I think I’ll have enough of Paris magic, don’t you think?!? Do you know what best-seller I’d like to see in my future? Well, I still don’t know….just wait a little time… but, for sure, the fairy -tale that represents me at best is: “The hare and the turtle”. I know, you thought I’d have chosen a Disney princess but no, I love the turtle because she is slow but she always arrives where she wants to go…
