DI MATTEO MANZINI: Settimana della moda terminata… Tante sfilate e altrettante presentazioni di nuovi marchi davvero interessanti, un’afa da farti evaporare e 2/3 party per sera ;-)…che aggiungono alla lista una media di 4 ore dormite per notte. Se poi considero di aver mangiato una sola volta al giorno, perché effettivamente non c’era il tempo per farlo, devo dire che la mia Men Fashion Week è stata super positiva! Veniamo al resoconto delle collezioni per la prossima primavera estate 2014: eleganti, con materiali pregiati ma decostruiti, l’uomo si veste di un nuovo formale, molto più casual. Un colore su tutti il bianco, talvolta mescolato al nero o blu proposto da Versace, Class Cavalli e PORTS1961, oppure con tutti i colori naturali della terra nelle versioni di Dolce&Gabbana, Dsquared2 o Missoni, e con l’azzurro di Ermanno Scervino. Ma è stata anche la fashion week delle stampe di Gucci, Prada, Calvin Klein e del divertimento di Au jour le jour garçon e Frankie Morello. E quando di divertimento si parla, impossibile non citare i party più esclusivi: quello di Dolce&Gabbana in onore di Leo Messi che ha stupito davvero tutti, cheerleader e cantanti super-pop che hanno fatto saltare tutto il teatro. Quello organizzato da vodka Grey Goose… E il più atteso tra tutti: quello di Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, realizzato in un ampio spazio minimale dove le immagini della nuova collezione del designer, proiettate nella sala, hanno fatto da coreografia e la sua musica ha creato l’atmosfera, facendoci ballare con un dj set pazzesco! BY MATTEO MANZINI: The fashion week is over…loads of runway shows, events of interesting brands, extra hot weather and 2-3 parties every night;-)…which, added to the list, made me sleep 4 hours per night on average. If then I consider the fact that I had something to eat only once a day as there was no time to eat, I must confess that my personal Men Fashion Week was more than positive! Let’s come to the review of the collections for next spring-summer 2014: elegant, with precious yet deconstructed materials, men wear a new chic look with a casual touch. The main protagonist is white, at times mixed with black or blue as proposed by Versace, Class Cavalli and PORTS1961, or else combined with all natural colours, such as in Dolce&Gabbana, Dsquared2 or Missoni collections, and white with light blue in Ermanno Scervino. But it was also the week of prints by Gucci, Prada, Calvin Klein and of fun in the collections by Au jour le jour garçon and Frankie Morello. And when talking about having fun, I can’t help but mentioning the most exclusive parties: Dolce&Gabbana’s party for Leo Messi, literally amazing with cheerleaders and super-pop singers who made dance us all. The party organised by Grey Goose vodka… and the most awaited of all: Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, set in a large, minimalist venue where the images of the designer’s new collections, projected in the room, were the perfect frame, and an amazing DJ set and his music did the rest creating a magic atmosphere!
