Come sottofondo avrete alcune canzoni dei Clash, dei Cure e degli Smiths per entrare nel nuovo mood di MSGM per il prossimo autunno inverno. Un’ispirazione post-punk romantica si sposa ad una nuova ossessione punk melodica… Il tutto più semplicemente tradotto in: elementi del punk inglese rivisti in chiave romantica. Scozzesi grigi e checks colorati, piede-de-poule laserati, principe di Galles imbottiti con lavorazioni patchwork e abbinate al neoprene. Rose stampate e pizzi effetto stucco su crepe de chine e broccato. Rombi e losanghe sono i leitmotiv della collezione. Il maculato, stampato su ottomani di seta, su panno di lana tecnica e su seta crepe, non rimane in disparte e si mescola con fantasie grafiche e floreali. Le mantelle jacquard sono abbinate ai gilet e i capispalla over, realizzati in lana bouclé strappata e in tessuti maschili accoppiati, hanno zip enormi che rompono le loro geometrie. Immancabili le maxi felpe, questa volta aerografate a mano. Colori tanti e vivaci: blu, arancio, verde, bordeaux, rosa e fuxia… Non avete dimenticato la colonna sonora iniziale, vero?!? Non sembra forse di essere un concerto punk di nuova generazione?

The Clash, the Cure and the Smiths are the perfect soundtrack to enter MSGM new mood for the next fall winter season. A romantic post-punk inspiration merges with a new melodic punk obsession… All more simply said as: elements of the British punk wave reinterpreted in a romantic way. Grey tartan and coloured check patterns, laser-cut pied-de-poule, quilted Prince of Wales fabrics with patchwork applications combined with neoprene materials. Printed roses and stucco-effect lace on crepe de chine and brocade. Rhombuses and lozenges are the collection’s leit motiv. Animalier patterns printed onto ottoman silk, onto technical wool fabrics and crepe do not pass unnoticed and blend with graphic and floral motifs. Jacquard capes matching with over-size waistcoats and coats, in torn bouclé wool and in man-style fabrics, have huge zip-fasteners braking their geometric rules. The inevitable maxi sweat-shirts, this time with hand-made aerograph prints. Many and lively colours: blue, orange, green, burgundy, pink and fuchsia… You haven’t forgotten the soundtrack, have you? Doesn’t it seem a new generation punk concert?
