"You must wear outfits once!" ???

Nonostante sia passato qualche tempo dalla divulgazione del decalogo di Anna Dello Russo, a qualche suo “comandamento” ci penso ancora…dopo avervi dato la mia visione della lezione n.3 (Se ti senti comoda non puoi avere un look) e della lezione n.6 (Se qualcuno indossa il tuo stesso outfit, devi aver fatto la scelta giusta), ora passerei alle successive 7 e 8, non tanto per seguire l’ordine, quanto più per esigenza di copione: raccontarvi qualcosa sull’outfit di oggi! Correva l’anno 2009 quando Chanel m’invitò alla mia prima sfilata, come inizio non fu niente male, ma allora non avevo idea di quale fosse la cosa giusta da indossare per un evento simile, l’unica cosa che sapevo era che ci tenevo tantissimo e non volevo sbagliare! Così decisi non solo di vendere l’anima al diavolo, ma pure uno degli organi interni di mio marito per entrare in Rue Cambon e comprare questo cappottino con borsa abbinata ;-)! Ora, un po’ per affetto e un po’ per rispetto nei confronti del rene che se n’è andato per sempre, credo che certe cose non possano essere indossate una volta sola! Ho cambiato la scarpa, gli occhiali da sole, ho aggiunto una spilla alla borsa e anche qualche anno…tutto sommato posso dire di averlo modificato, questo fa di lui un outfit diverso e un esempio perfetto di come un cappotto possa vestire come un abito!

Although some time has passed since the release of Anna Dello Russo’s top ten rules of fashion, I still think of some of her “commandments”….after giving you my version of her lesson no.3 (if you feel comfortable you never get the look) and of lesson no.6 (somebody wearing your same outfit? you did the right choice), I’d pass to lessons number 7 and 8, not really to follow a chronological order but for script reasons: telling you about today’s outfit! It was the year 2009 when I was invited for the first time to take part in the Chanel show and to start with it didn’t go so bad, but at that time I didn’t have a clue of what to wear for such an event, the only thing I was sure of was that I was so glad to go and I didn’t want to choose something wrong! So I decided not only to sell my soul but also one of my husband’s kidneys to the Devil and get in the Rue Cambon boutique to buy a coat and a bag ;-)! Now, perhaps for affection or respect towards the departed kidney, I think that some outfits cannot be worn just one in your life! I’ve chosen new shoes, new sunglasses, I’ve added a broche and a few years to the bag….all in all, I must say that I’ve changed the outfit and this is a perfect example of how to wear a coat as a dress!
