Nell’industria musicale si chiama ONE HIT WONDER un artista o un gruppo noto al grande pubblico per un solo singolo; Benché questo fenomeno sia presente in ogni periodo della musica pop, è più frequente quando si tratta di generi musicali che durano solo qualche anno, acquisendo così un sapore nostalgico legato all’epoca che lo ha reso famoso. Ryan Murphy , il produttore di Glee, pare abbia in mente un altro musical e questa volta con un cast d’eccezione: Beyonce Knowles, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz. Tre soliste pop molto in voga negli anni ’90 finiscono nel dimenticatoio, ma qualcosa le spingerà a tornare sotto i riflettori, e si sa, l’unione fa la forza… un trio femminile di vecchie glorie è quello che ci vuole per riscoprire il successo. Beyonce aveva già recitato nel 2006 in “Dreamgirls”, il musical che si ispira alla vita delle Supremes, il trio afroamericano in cui cantava Diana Ross e Cameron Diaz assieme a Drew Barrymore e Lucy Liu ha dato una degna versione di Charlie’s Angels di oggi e un’ottima dimostrazione che tre donne nello stesso posto e alla stessa ora possono fare cose incredibili. Resta Gwyneth Paltrow, che ha già lavorato con Ryan Murphy in Glee 3D Concert Movie, e che di musica è piuttosto ferrata…visto il marito che si ritrova… Staremo a vedere cosa succederà…intanto vi lascio con una One Hit Wonder, interpretata da Hugh Grant nel film ” Scrivimi una canzone”, ve la ricordate?

Beyonce already acted in the movie “Dreamgirls” in 2006, the musical inspired to the life and success of “The Supremes”, Diana Ross’s music trio, while Cameron Diaz, together with Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu acted in the remake of the movie “Charlie’s Angels” showing that three women in the same place at the same time can work wonders! Gwyneth Paltrow has already worked with Ryan Murphy starring in Glee 3D Concert Movie, and she is quite well-read about music….considering her husband’s career… we will see…meanwhile I leave you with a One Hit Wonder performed by Hugh Grant in “Music and Lyrics”, does it ring a bell?
