Donuts, love and fantasy ;-)!

Su per giù, era il 300 a.C e lo storico greco Filocoro, dopo essersi preso una bella sbronza nel peggiore dei bar di Atene, confessò di essere stato bocciato all’esame di storia contemporanea e coniò la frase: “In vino veritas“. Poi arrivò Baudelaire, anche lui astemio non era, e disse: “chi non beve vino ha qualcosa da nascondere!” E chi dice di non amare i dolci allora? Forse non ha scheletri nell’armadio, ma certamente sta mentendo! Nessuno è perfetto, nemmeno io ;-)! Altro che alcolisti anonimi, io appartengo alla categoria dei golosi spudorati! Nessuno si vanterà mai di essere un incazzato cronico, un malinconico indifferente, un altezzoso snob, un tirchio incallito o un invidioso frustrato, ma al contrario, se di godimento si parla, nessuno avrà paura di ammettere che ama soddisfare un piacere…sesso e profiteroles sono la stessa cosa! Torte, dolci, gelati, caramelle, cioccolatini e biscotti sono la mia passione…Oggi mi accontenterò di quelli a “impatto zero” disegnati sui miei pantaloni, forse non appagheranno la mia voglia, ma dopotutto non si vive di solo pane, ma di donuts, amore e fantasia ;-)!

It was almost 300 B.C. and the Greek historian Filocoro, after getting drunk in the worst bars of Athens, confessed he had failed the contemporary history exam and invented the phrase: “In vino veritas” which means that in wine there is the truth. Then it was Baudelaire’s turn and he wasn’t teetotal either so he said: “people who don’t drink wine have something to hide!” and what about those who don’t like sweet things then? Perhaps they are not hiding anything but they’re lying for sure! Nobody is perfect, me neither ;-)! No drunk addicted, I’m part of the category of shameless gluttonous! Nobody will never talk big about being short-tempered, an indifferent melancholic, a snobbish person, a scrooge or a frustrated envious, but, on the contrary, if we’re talking about pleasure, no one will deny the personal satisfaction…sex and profiteroles are almost the same! Cakes, sweets, ice-creams, candies, chocolate and biscuits are my passion…today I’ll have enough of these “zero impact” sweets on my pants, perhaps they’ll not be able to satisfy my needs but, after all, you can’t live only on bread, donuts, love and fantasy ;-)!
