E ci sono anche quei giorni in cui ti senti giù, in cui vorresti cambiare tutto perché non sei soddisfatto…quei giorni in cui vedi tutto nero! Poi, per cercare di sentirti meglio, ricorri all’unico rimedio “rapido” che solitamente è infallibile: il canta che ti passa, una canzone allegra è un ottimo scacciapensieri! Io ne possiedo un intero repertorio personale, ma quella che ultimamente è al primo posto della mia classifica è PUMPIN BLOOD di NONONO. “Hey cuore, sulla strada di nuovo, andiamo avanti, il tuo cuore può sopportare tutto, tu conosci la felicità. E’ il migliore sentimento del mondo, come se nulla possa andare storto. Questo è il tuo cuore, è vivo, sta pulsando sangue e tutto l’intero mondo sta fischiando…” E ti metti a fischiare anche tu, accompagnato da un volume così alto da rischiare una denuncia per inquinamento acustico, ma chi se ne importa! Quel “total black” che vedevi all’orizzonte fino a poco fa è finalmente scomparso…al suo posto qualcosa di più allegro: una fantasia a pois! A dimostrazione che, se ci pensi bene, tutto nero non può essere, che qualcosa che funziona c’è sempre e che, a volte, è difficile vederla, specie quando non si ha voglia di vederla! Il mio pezzo simbolo a pois è anche uno dei miei preferiti di questa stagione: la giacca in pelle e seta di Emanuel Ungaro…anche indossarla, garantisco, può farti sentire meglio ;-)!

And there are days in which you feel blue, moments when you would like to change your life as you’re not satisfied…and you can’t see the silver lining of the cloud! So, to try and feel better, you think of the only “rescue remedy” that always works: sing and take your mind off it, a cheerful song is the perfect harps! I have my own personal repertoire but the one that has recently been the absolute hit is PUMPIN BLOOD by NONONO. “Hey, heart, on the road again, moving on, forward, your heart can list the all happiness you know. It’s the best of world’s feeling, like nothing can go wrong. This is your heart, it’s alive, it’s pumping blood and the whole wide world is whistling…” and you start whistling too, pumping up the volume so high to run the risk of being suited for acoustic pollution, but who cares!? That “total black” in your horizon has finally disappeared…replaced by something lively: a polka dot pattern! The evidence of the fact that if you think about it, there’s always something that works, sometimes it’s difficult to see that silver lining especially when you don’t want to! My symbolic polka dot piece is one my favourite this season: the leather and silk jacket by Emanuel Ungaro…and simply wearing it, I assure you, will make you feel better ;-)!
