During the Vogue Fashion Night Out in Rome one name stood out above all and this name was Fendi, the Roman fashion house founded in 1925. In fact, the organizer of the event of the events could only be the master par excellence! All Fendi’s world was carefully displayed in front of my eyes: shoes, bags, watches, scarves, jewellery, an entire building at the disposal of all those who went to this charity event. The models in Fendi’s outfits from autumn-winter collection paraded through the guests, while an interesting DJ set up pearls of lounge music. There were so many Red Cross nurses, the symbol of the event, and finally … Silvia Venturini Fendi in an elegant dark dress with bicolour court shoes waiting at the entrance for the VFNO’s organizer Franca Sozzani. Vogue Italy’s Director was wearing a champagne-coloured dress, flat sandals of the same nuance and a pair of turquoise earrings looking like her eyes’ colour. After the photos left to the press, I approached and asked her if I could introduce myself, She kindly replied, saying: “Certainly …” some pictures with her and some others with Silvia Venturini Fendi, and I said to her that I would write with great pleasure about this evening at the palace. Do you want to know how I felt? You won’t find the expression on my face, but on that of the nice dj, to which I told everything about the event before fainting in the shoe department ;-)!

Nella notte della moda di Vogue a Roma un nome spicca su tutti ed è quello di Fendi, la casa di moda romana fondata nel 1925. A organizzare l’evento degli eventi non poteva che essere la padrona di casa per eccellenza! Tutto il mondo Fendi è davanti ai miei occhi, accuratamente esposto: le scarpe, le borse, gli orologi, i foulards, i gioielli, un intero palazzo per accogliere tutti coloro che hanno partecipato a questa serata di beneficenza. Le modelle indossano capi della collezione autunno inverno, sfilando tra gli invitati, mentre un dj dal viso interessante regala perle di musica lounge. Ci sono tante crocerossine che sono il simbolo della serata stessa e per finire… Silvia Venturini Fendi che indossa un elegante abito scuro con decolletè bicolore rosse e nere e attende all’ingresso l’organizzatrice della VFNO Franca Sozzani. La direttrice di Vogue Italia ha un abito color champagne, sandali bassi della stessa nuance e un paio di orecchini turchesi che sembrano i gemelli dei suoi occhi. Dopo le foto lasciate alla stampa, mi avvicino chiedendole se fosse possibile conoscerla, lei risponde gentilmente dicendo: “certamente…” qualche foto con lei e qualche altra con Silvia Venturini Fendi, a cui dico che scriverò con molto piacere di questa serata a Palazzo. Siete curiosi di sapere come mi sono sentita? L’espressione di felicità non la troverete sulla mia faccia, quanto più su quella di quel simpatico dj a cui ho raccontato tutto prima svenire nel reparto calzature 😉 !D
