Il prossimo autunno inverno di Andrès Caballero, presentato all’ultima edizione di AltaRoma, si ispira alla concezione di arte moderna di Luis Barragàn, il più importante architetto messicano del XX secolo. L’architettura di questo grande artista è il vero riferimento della collezione, come le sue opere creano un’atmosfera di sospensione e di mistero, grazie all’uso di colori accesi e tagli stravaganti dietro ai quali è difficile immaginare cosa si nasconda, così questo prêt-à-porter gioca con luci e ombre, prodotti dai blocchi di colore, per svelare l’immagine finale: una riproduzione fedele delle “Torri Satellite” tutta da indossare. Crêpe di lana e bouclè mohair per cappotti e giacche dalle strutture ampie e morbide arricchiti da particolari in pelliccia; materiali e colori a contrasto per abiti in lana e in twill di seta plissettata impreziositi da ricami fatti a mano. Abiti a trapezio, gonne a pannello, queste le nuove strutture da tingere di blu, ocra, giallo, rosa, oro, bianco e nero che si mixano in un color block con un ché di…architettonico.
The fall winter collection by Andrès Caballero, showcased during this year’s edition of AltaRoma, takes inspirations from Luis Barragàn’s art works, the most important Mexican artist of the XX century. Wool crêpe and mohair bouclè for coats and jackets, characterised by wide and soft volumes, enriched with fur details; Materials and colours in contrast for woollen and pleated silk twill dresses, with precious hand-made embroideries. trapeze-shaped dresses, panel skirts, these are the new structures tinged with blue, ochre, yellow, pink, gold, white and black, blended in a colour block….with an architectural touch.
