Ci sono i cacciatori di taglie e ci sono i cacciatori di scarpe che cercano la propria taglia…quella sono io! Più sono particolari, più il gioco si fa duro ed è in quel momento che i duri cominciano a giocare ;-)! Mi calo nella parte, in una sorta di “Django Unchained” (con la D muta), alla ricerca della mia Broomhillda Von Shaft: questo stivaletto di MIU MIU. L’ho adocchiato a fine luglio su un lookbook, ma nessuno sapeva dirmi se, dopo la sfilata, lo avrebbero prodotto oppure no e infatti, come spesso succede, la realtà è sempre molto diversa da quella che viene raccontata nei libri. Pare che gli esemplari siano davvero pochi e che LUI, rintracciato a Parigi da un bravissimo agente segreto, sia tra quelli! Il finale del mio film è molto diverso da quello descritto da Quentin Tarantino, non preoccupatevi, mi piace sempre concludere in bellezza…risparmiare la modica cifra di 12 mila dollari e riuscire a portarlo a casa senza lasciare morti dietro di me e è sicuramente un lieto fine che mi soddisfa ;-)!

The more special they are, the more difficult the task is and when the going gets tough, the tough gets going ;-)! I become a sort of “Django Unchained” (with silent D) in search of my Broomhillda Von Shaft: these MIU MIU ankle boots. After spotting it last July on a look-book, no one could tell me whether, following the runway show, those shoes would have been produced or not, in fact, as it often happens, reality is different from book tales. It seems that there are very few pairs of this model available and IT, detected in Paris by a special secret agent, is there! The end of my movie is different from Tarantino’s one, don’t worry, I love happy endings….saving the little amount of 12 thousand dollars and bringing it home with no dead men behind is surely the best happy end ever ;-)!
