Did you know that at the beginning of the 60 Diptyque's founders marketed fabrics? Gautrot, Knox-Leet and Coueslant imagined fabrics printed with graphic patterns, inspired by contemporary design and minimalist abstraction. So in 34 Boulevard Saint Germain born the first colored candles, to match with tissues, and the idea of scented it. Fifty years later, Diptyque tissues,too advanced for that period, are surprising for their modernity and become the inspiration of new candles collection for winter 2012.
