Tartan addicted!

A ogni clan il suo tartan …così fu deciso nel 1815 dalla Highland Society of London. E per questa stagione pare che nessuno possa rinunciarci! Limitarsi a uno, per me, è un po’ riduttivo, così ho pensato di farne miei almeno due, appartenenti alle “famiglie” che amo di più: CHANEL e FAUSTO PUGLISI, giusto per non sbagliare ;-)! Simili, ma non perfettamente uguali e abbinarli insieme a una camicia a righe è anche più divertente. La gonna kilt con pieghe plissettate che si chiude con lacci in pelle e fibbie laterali, come insegna la tradizione, rimane uno dei miei pezzi preferiti, come la Boy, che su di me esercita sempre un certo fascino. La gamba nuda è un lusso che non potrò concedermi ancora per molto, visto le temperature in diminuzione, ma in questo pomeriggio di sole, il freddo è l’ultima cosa a cui pensare!

Each clan its tartan…that’s what the Highland Society of London stated in 1815. And this season, it seems that nobody can do without! Just one is a bit reductive for me so I’ve thought of two at least, belonging to my beloved “clans”: CHANEL and FAUSTO PUGLISI, not to get wrong ;-)! Similar yet not perfectly the same and matching them with a striped shirt adds more fun. The pleated kilt skirt with leather strings and lateral clasps, the traditional way, is one of my favourite pieces, as well as the Boy bag which is always appealing. Naked legs are a luxury that I wouldn’t afford again due to temperatures decreasing quickly but during this lovely afternoon, cold is the last thing I think of!
