E così anche la mia prima asta è andata! Ringrazio tutti coloro che hanno partecipato, che si sono divertiti contendendosi gli oggetti messi a disposizione da negozi e aziende, che numerosi hanno risposto a questa iniziativa. La merce raccolta è così tanta che un solo pomeriggio non è stato sufficiente per battere tutti i lotti, così…io, Matteo, Cinzia, Mr. e Mrs. Murr abbiamo deciso di fare una seconda asta a Milano. Per poter esaurire ciò che ci è stato offerto e ricavare il più possibile per aiutare, lo ricordo, le persone colpite dal sisma in Emilia. La data indicativa dell’evento è prevista per mercoledì 27 giugno, dopo il Pitti e la fashion week milanese, ma vi darò indicazioni più precise su orario e luogo quando tutto sarà definito. Roberta e Antonio Murr sono stati deliziosi, hanno portato il loro brio contagioso facendo trascorrere agli invitati un pomeriggio davvero piacevole. Non so dirvi quanto mi abbia reso felice organizzare questo evento e quanto sia bello aiutare concretamente amici in grande difficoltà, perciò rinnovo il mio impegno per la prossima edizione e da domani, con un po’ più di serenità, riprenderò il mio vero lavoro… perché ammetto che un po’ mi è mancato!

And my first auction is over! I thank all the people who took part in the event, who had fun in choosing and buying the objects on sale kindly offered by shops and companies. We had so many pieces for this auction that the afternoon wasn’t long enough to sell everything, so…Matteo, Cinzia, Mr. And Mrs. Murr and me decided to organise a second charity auction in Milan in order to sell all the pieces we had gathered and try to raise more money for the people hit by the earthquake in Emilia Romagna. The date of this next event is Wednesday June 27, after the Pitti and the Milan fashion week, but I will give you more details as soon as everything is organised. Roberta and Antonio Murr were really kind and generous, their contagious brio spread to the guest attending the auction. I am so glad, it is so important to help people in need therefore I remind you once again of the second charity event in Milan, tomorrow I will start again with my real job…..to be honest, I missed it quite a lot!
